Matthew Gough is a co-founder at Spindle. He started his first company out of college and never stopped, experiencing several exits (and several failures) followed by Fortune 500 consulting stints and eventually returning to his roots - building startups.

His passion for data and transformative concepts fueled the creation of five ventures, where he played pivotal roles as founder, CEO, mentor, advisor, and investor, amassing over $250M in collective funding.

At Spindle, he illuminates the startup path, seamlessly blending big ideas with practical experience and data-driven insights to guide companies toward success.

At the end of the day, Matt wants to help build startups not run startups.

Spindle Graphics (7)The Builder

Rich Estes has invested most of his career in the built environment.  From building and remodeling thousands of beautiful homes, Rich enjoys seeing a project go from an idea to reality.

After the housing crash of 2008, Rich hung up his builder hat and went to work solving problems in real estate and construction with technology and innovation.  In the 2010s, Rich completed an MBA at John’s Hopkins and founded two startups in proptech, one of which raised over $40M and valued over $100M.

Today, Rich doesn’t build homes but rather companies and helps founders solve big problems that can impact the world.  His peers recognize him to be a scrappy strategic thinker who can clearly see the big picture, yet is willing to identify and embrace the little things necessary to achieve runaway success.
